It’s 13 on the 13th ‘in blue’

Even though the color for Gemini is yellow, when I think of Gemini, I think of the gift of gab, chatting & the throat chakra, which is blue because it is believed to represent communication & the ability to speak one’s truth.

The cyclical theme per our western astrological zodiac, continues this month with the constellation of Gemini, the third sign & ‘the twins’ of the zodiac, known for their quick wit (because they are ruled by Mercury), intelligence (also because they are ruled by Mercury), curiousity, as well as the connection with the dual nature of this reality.

Gemini is an air sign, which is associated with intellect, communication, and a love for variety.

The twins, Castor and Pollux, are the symbol of Gemini, reflecting their dual nature and ability to adapt to different situations—thus reflected in their ‘duality’.

The 3rd house, the house of communication, is ruled by both Gemini and its ruling planet, Mercury. This house governs communication, short trips, learning, and interactions with siblings and neighbors.

The planet Jupiter, the planet of expansion, has been in Gemini recently (thank God it just moved into Cancer on June 9th), as you may have been feeling a bit of ‘information overload’, being that Jupiter expands and amplifies whatever sign it’s in.

This is reflected in this curated group of pieces.

Each piece is ‘dual’ - meaning it has another version it was made from, or it has an ‘artist proof’.

‘Artist Proofs’ (also called ‘test prints’) are originals & can't be reproduced (unless the sun and clouds form the exact positions again!) and were used in 'testing' the correct exposure in making some of the pieces in the series.

It’s a little more than 13 pieces total, but that’s just a little spill over from Jupiter’s expansion of our beloved Gemini twins.
