Why host this exhibit?
I faced my shit and healed myself after dying every month with 17 years of Endometriosis.
Now I create art that helps others do the same.
I learned through my experience that all healing starts with being authentic.
I would come to realize later on that we can’t even recognize what it is that we really want until we experience the unwanted. That contrast gives birth to us feeling the joy from our own desires.
So I decided to begin actually 'living the art.'
I created a 13-year ongoing art series (started in April 2021) about my journey, called "Every Phase" – powerfully illustrating how I healed myself living by the phases of the female hormonal cycle.
The Stairway to Healing (year 4 of the series) told a story throughout 2024 within the 'Every Phase' ongoing art series,
and came to form a complete picture to be fully revealed in the natural new year, April 2025.

The Stairway to Healing includes the visual interpretation of the characters that have led me to my healing,
representing all the different phases, where the journey has taken me, and where it is going.
This is a marriage of life & art, illustrating how our environment shapes the way we live.
There are steps to healing, and on this journey, we merge what we perceive as our 'pain' realizing it is our unrealized 'power'.
Let’s live the art, together.
Because when we heal ourselves, we heal our world.
There are a few limited editions, but the exhibit mainly features original pieces.

‘The Garden Party’ images were created in the sentiment and inspiration of a biophilic lifestyle.
An innate human tendency to seek connections with nature and other forms of life.
In addition to the art pieces, the collection features handmade ‘Glow’ votive candle holders with each one being unique & original. The floral imagery has been transferred onto the glass in a unique process which produces a silvery, light, and glowing finish.

The Cyanotype,
which is also known as ferroprussiate, blueprint, or sun-print is a very old and simple form of photography employing the organic aspects of light, glass (or a negative), and time.
It is one of my favorite camera-less photographic techniques I learned when I first started learning about photography.

I am also offering the smaller 15x22 exposure 'Artist Proofs' (examples above) of some of the pieces in the collection for $450.
These are originals & can't be reproduced (unless the sun and clouds form the exact positions again!) and were used in 'testing' the correct exposure in making some of the pieces in the series.

I created this work not only for women with painful cycles, to turn their period into their superpower, but for all people in pain.
Each piece in this collection is crafted with love and care, as I have actually ‘lived’ the artwork, creating a piece of art for each phase that I live through, so each piece has a story behind it.
The majority of the works above are from my ongoing 'Every Phase' series about how I healed myself after 17 years of debilitating pain with Endometriosis, and the images + writing reveal how to biohack and leverage the energy of each of the phases in your life.
