Receiving everything is the most generous thing you can give to someone.
The way you receive is everything.
Contrary to what many people think, it isn't the action, but how it is received that generates everything else in relation to it.
What way do you receive? How do you receive? It determines how you handle situations, or how the situations handle you.
It is the basis for determining how you feel, how you are choosing to be in relation to whatever you are being given.
Looking closer at the relationship to receiving or this 'being', which is feminine energy, is the polar opposite of masculine energy, which revolves around 'doing.'
We all have both masculine and feminine energy inside of us so it isn't about choosing one or the other, or debating which is better, but the integration, collaboration and balance of both within ourselves.
They are simply two polarities.
So regardless of what sex you are, the integration of both is necessary.
For example, feminine energy is expressed through creativity, and moving through the flow of your life, as well as in dance and play.
Masculine energy is expressed when you harness your drive to achieve something, like striving for a goal.
Feminine energy can often feel very incongruous and become out of balance when you're used to pushing forward in every area of your life 24/7.
As hormone levels decline to their lowest during the menstrual phase, this creates the greatest communication between the two brain hemispheres (the left and the right).
This means you're best able to judiciously evaluate how you're doing in life--what worked and what didn't work over the past 28-32 days in the previous 3 phases.
Review and strategize where you want to go in terms of the bigger picture of your life.
For me, I took a look at my relationship to receiving and started to welcome and really talk to the parts of myself that are deemed 'negative' or 'critical'.
They are always pointing me to the answers of the questions I've been asking.
Reflecting on Yourself and going inward is a direct way to tap into your feminine energy and balance it within our masculine, goal-oriented world.
Women, by their very nature, can receive and give back more than men. If you receive love, you can return it tenfold. And the same amplification goes for anger. It will be amplified towards the person who hurt or betrayed you.
When women have a problem with receiving, it's usually associated with the feeling we aren't worthy or don't deserve it.
Your feminine power to receive means if you ask for more, you will receive more.
Feminine energy craves personal creativity because it's a creative force.
Dancing, painting, pottery, writing, art; any form of creation will enable you to tap into the 'flow' of your life and your feminine energy.
Women were physically designed to create new life.
Harnessing our inner creativity is a way of allowing that inner energy you have to burst forth.
Downtime and connection have taken second place to getting things done. I explored this during my writing for the luteal phase in 'The Sword of Truth'.
The 'play' is what seems to make the efforting have a point, a purpose. It's what makes it worth it.
And the work allows you to experience play through whatever movement, media, etc.
Allow for 'playtime' in your life.
When we take action for the sake of checking off the task list for work, the 'satisfaction' we feel from completing this list is due to us letting go of the pressure on ourselves.
So no shit it does feel good when you get stuff done only because you created the pressure on yourself in the first place!
Feminine energy enables you to transform.
It's the opposite of stagnating, being uninspired & overworked. Don't be afraid to walk away from something if it isn't working for you.
Creativity flows, sometimes rapidly.
So while feminine energy is often associated with quiet rejuvenation, it can also be bold and forceful.
Honoring the above aspects of feminine energy, and the integrity of these cycles, this piece will complete the 2021 cycle.
Look for me celebrating the follicular phase in January of 2022 with an expanded structure for the every phase project.
& in case you've forgotten, I love you 💌

The Little Known Issue Almost All Menstrual Problems Have In Common...
Women of all ages, histories, and “official” diagnoses complaining of the exact same symptoms. Whether they’re dealing with ovarian cysts, fibroids, or conditions like PCOS or endometriosis (or they don’t know what they’re dealing with), they’re battling the same hormonal issues every day — from PMS and hormonal acne to crazy periods and weight gain, and more. Does any of this sound familiar? If so, you’re unfortunately in good company and you’re dealing with an unbelievably common, root cause of hormonal dysfunction called estrogen dominance.
What Is Estrogen Dominance?
You probably know that estrogen is the female sex hormone and it’s mainly produced in the ovaries thanks to your fat cells and the adrenal gland. It’s a super important chemical messenger that — when in balance — helps regulate your period. It also plays a big role in pregnancy, bone formation, blood clotting, and more.
So yes, estrogen is a beautiful thing when it’s in balance with your other hormones. But when too much of it builds up in the body or there’s too much in relation to progesterone, it results in a condition called estrogen dominance. There are lots of reasons your levels of estrogen can be tipped in this way, including stress, poor sleep, the use of synthetic estrogens like the birth control pill, pesticides in your food, and chemicals in your environment. And even if you do your best to ensure absolutely stellar self-care, you may still be exposing yourself to all sorts of excess estrogens because we’re all constantly surrounded by endocrine disruptors – in everything from our furniture to our nail polish. Scary, right?
Why Is Too Much Estrogen Bad For You?
Again, hormones are all about balance. When your levels are thrown off in any direction, it inevitably initiates a dangerous chain reaction that can have devastating effects on your health and happiness. In the case of estrogen dominance, the imbalance can cause all kinds of unpleasant symptoms like irritability and fatigue, but it’s also been linked to major, permanent problems like infertility and even cancer. if you have estrogen dominance, there are long-term health effects for those struggling with this hormonal imbalance. Over the years and decades, a persistent estrogen overload increases the risk of many diseases and health issues including:
Female cancers, particularly breast cancer
