As most people who know me know, I love the number 13.

There are several pretty powerful reasons for this, being that I’ve lived and died on the 13th and everything in between.

To fully ‘reset the clock’, I am bringing 13 back.

Back to the cycles of time.

Back to nature, the Mother of us all.

Back to the Goddess.

During this 5th year of the Every Phase series, I began my ‘Southern Zodiac’ collection, making art with the natural elements of the place I love most, and the only place I’ve ever felt like I could call home, the wild southeastern US. More specifically: Macon, Georgia.

This is a marriage of my physical world, with the spiritual, expanding the view of cyclical living.

I have reset the timing of the series to begin in the natural new year (not based on the Gregorian Calendar created by the Catholic Church, but our current Spring) starting with Aries - The first sign, fire, the Cardinal Ram, the initiator.

‘Ophiuchus,’ also known as the ‘Serpent Bearer’, is the 'deleted' 13th zodiac sign.

And, it's linked to the number 13--the Goddess, which is feminine, and most things associated with the feminine polarity have been pushed away, completely denied, or suppressed.

Usually, people push against or deny what they fear.

So why is 13 considered a divine 'feminine' number?
Because it is the number of moon cycles each year and the female cycle (follicular, ovulatory, luteal & menstrual) flows within those 13 moon cycles.

The moon impacts not only the fluid waters, which hold memory and are symbolic of feminine energy, but the fluid emotions + sensitivities of humanity.

When almost every word in our English language used to describe something feminine (especially body parts) is also used as an insult to describe someone as powerless or weak,

you would never guess that women possess the only force on Earth powerful enough to grow & navigate unborn souls onto this planet.

This raw, uncensored divine feminine power is what our current institutions of power fear.

The creative life-force energy which destroys everything that distorts the sacred truth.

As above, so below: All of the constellations of the different signs link to the different parts of our body.

The 13th (which as discussed above has been left out) is linked to the nervous system.

So metaphorically and literally through food, chemicals, etc., they had to cut our brain and body connection to gain control of us.

When you control someone's nervous system, you control them.

Harnessing this energy and allowing the masculine and feminine polarities to connect and merge within yourself means that you can no longer be manipulated.

The more you know yourself, the more you are at one with everything else, and the more unstoppable you become.

My connection to Mary (Miriam/Magadalene) runs much deeper than any words I could attempt to write here.

The Fatima apparitions (Mary appearing) to the three shepherd children in 1917 occurred on the 13th of each month from May to October.

This means there were six Fatima dates that fell on the 13th.

Specifically, the apparitions took place on:

June 13, 1917
July 13, 1917
August 13, 1917
September 13, 1917
October 13, 1917 (my wedding anniversary, unplanned to fall here)

The series will be cyclically themed per our western astrological zodiac, starting this month with the constellation of Taurus, the second sign & ‘the cultivator’ of the zodiac, known for its grounded, sensual, and reliable nature, as well as the connection with Mother Earth & the organic, natural world.
